Motorcycle Helmet Bill - SB 167

This bill would eliminate mandatory motorcycle helmet use by adult riders.

The bill was heard in the Judicial Proceedings (JPR) Committee on February 20, 2002 at 1 pm.  

During the hearing, we were told by the committee chairman that we already had the committee vote.  

We need two additional votes to pass the full Senate.  The Senators listed below, voted NO on this bill during the last session.  Contact them and ask them to change to YES.  If one of these Senators commits to a YES vote contact webmaster@abate-of-maryland.org with that information.
